Day 5/365: Main Squeeze Natural Foods Cafe

My quest for lunch brought me to a unique and inviting cafe that boasts its waste is less than a bag of trash a day. Other claims to fame are utilizing local produce and using 80% organic food in its dishes. I was impressed.

Hand prints in the plaster on the walls lend a great casual ambiance and nice background to the child artwork displayed on the far wall of the cafe.

My Greek salad (greens, pitted olives, Feta cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes and red peppers)topped with homemade ginger-sesame vinaigrette and paired with fresh lemonade was amazing and portion perfect for lunch.
